French term

mise en place logistique

French to English Medical Medical (general) storing of medical equipment
Good afternoon

This involves a translation about the storage/stockage of medical equipment.

Here is the context:

L'objectif de cette visite d'audit était d'étudier la mise en place logistique de nouveaux produits. En effet, certains craintes concernant les volumes de ces nouveaux produits ont été évoquées et il fallait pouvoir étudier ces problématiques...

Thank you!

Is this just

logistic placement of new products

or is it logistics placement of new products

This may be obvious to somebody.

neutral Lianne Wilson : To me, 'product placement' says branding in films. But that could be just me.

logistics implementation

I may be wrong, but I don't think " mise en place" has anything to do with positioning - it means setting them up on the logistics system.
Note from asker:
Could be right, but the whole text suggests that they are re-organising the shelves, making space for other products, and moving old products to less-accessible shelving areas...etc etc. i.e. just swapping stuff around and making better use of the space available.
Peer comment(s):

agree Jack Dunwell : Yes, I think it might be the "logistical set up". They want to find out why they keep producing more than they can sell. Something wrong with logistical assumptions.
