Spanish term
alcanza rango definidor
Spanish to English
Law/Patents
Law (general)
This comes from the preamble to a Royal Decree on the corporate enterprise act (ley de sociedades de capital), which consolidates all previous corporate legislation: "De este modo se supera la tradicional regulación separada de las formas o tipos sociales designadas con esa genérica expresión, que ahora, al ascender a título de la ley, alcanza rango definidor". I understand the first part, and take "ascender a título de la ley" to mean " on becoming law", but not sure what to put for the last three words.
