Hi,

DE:

Technische Anweisungen für Gebäude der Auslandsvertretungen (***Kanzleien***)
[...]
Botschafter/Botschafterin
Generalkonsul/Generalkonsulin
Konsul/Konsulin
Besprechungsraum (Dienststellenleitung)
Vorzimmer
Umkleideraum
Wartefläche
Vertreter/Vertreterin der Dienstellenleitung
Ständiger Vertreter/Vertreterin
Vorzimmer (wie Vorzim. Dienststellenleitung)
Kanzlei-Beschäftigte
Standardbüro (Höherer Dienst)

I did a bit of research, to no avail.

Could this possibly be diplomatic office?

Best regards,

Ein guter Link. Ich glaube, dann nehm ich das (Chancery bzw. Head of Chancery für Kanzler).

Embassy Administration

Rules or no, I think it would have been better to keep these terms together
https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Botschaft_(Diplomatie)

According to the structure explained in the Wikipedia link, this person may head up all embassy sections except consular.

I also found this link below which has this term in one of many translated diplomatic dossiers. See p 6 and 7
