Non è forse che venga dall'inglese, cioè "Patient Information [leaflet] for/from the United States"? Nel contesto, immagino che "RCP" (nonostante il riferimento tedesco) stia per il documento francese "Résumé des Caractéristiques du Produit". Sia i "PI" dagli Usa sia i "RCP" sono infatti delle specie di "informazioni di riferimento sulla sicurezza" dei farmaci. (Sembra inoltre che si usi "PI" anche in ambito tedesco, per "Patienteninformation".)
