normal based on a cursory neurological examination / no gross neurological deficit
Based on the information at the links below, "cursory neurological examination" may also cover parts of the body and areas which are not under the control of cranial nerves such as mobility of left and right extremities, consciousness, meningeal signs, etc.

Nerurological findings approximately/generally/preliminarily normal
In this context "orientačně" means that they did not pursue it in depth, but it all seems to be ok. Either of the three adjectives would do, the first two are better, the third one would only apply if there is or will be some follow-up

It looks weird, but this is the standard wording! Basically all neurological tests done, all seems normal.

: here orientační refers to level of knowledge, not orientation in space or time; Amendment as requested: don't disagree entirely, but when I look at the quora references, grossly still sems wronghere to me, somehow

And that is exactly what this means (level of knowledge, etc) - I think you clicked on the wrong response! Please amend

: "Grossly intact" may be fine, but the source doesn't say or imply that the findings are limited to cranial nerves
