kontusionelle Blutanteile

German to English Medical Medical (general) trauma surgery
Patient mit SHT:

"Im Schockraum-CT zeigt sich ein diffuses Schädelhirntrauma mit rechtsbetonten subarachnoidalen und kontusionellen Blutanteilen."

How can I incorporate the "Anteile" into the translation? I could easily omit it and not ask the question, I guess the translation would not suffer greatly, but I'd like to hear your proposals for an elegant translation that captures the idea of "Anteile".

Anyone feeling medically creative today?

He did not use high-flying words, but this is what the German means.

I went with a description suggested by my ex prof of medicine. I think he provided a good solution. I thought your second idea was a bit of an overtranslation which I considered too risky. But thanks anyway for your input! (no-one else dared to jump in, so I respect your guts :=))

Thanks, Christopher. I wonder what exactly they mean by "Anteile" though. Blood "components" are plasma, RBC, WBC, platelets. I doubt that that's what they mean. Oder ??
