Italian term
PVC centralizzata appianata
Italian to English
Medical
Medical: Health Care
OB-GYN
From an OB report of patient under labor induction.
"Propess fuoriuscito durante minzione. Rottura spontanea del sacco.
Visita ostetrica: PVC centralizzata, appianata, dilatata di 6 cm. presentazione cefalica, livello -2"
My only guess is PVC should be cervix, but why does it not say cervix instead?
Thank you in advance.

The complete translation of the sentence should be:
"the vaginal portion (of the cervix) was flattened and moving towards the central position". I'm not so sure about the translation of "centralizzata"

Thank you very much for your suggestion, but unfortunately it does not fit the context of an obstetric examination. |
