French term
Rem de la minute
French to English
Law/Patents
Law (general)
"Me AAA
expédition délivrée à
CPAM des BBB
le [manuscrit :] 22/04/23
mentions diverses
Rem de la minute 22/351
Par jugement de la quatrième chambre civile du vingt-trois mai deux mille vingt-trois
..."
"Me AAA
expédition délivrée à
CPAM des BBB
le [manuscrit :] 15/04/22
mentions diverses
[manuscrit :]
Rem de la minute 22/119.
..."
Looks like the "RG no." "roll no." ... but what could "rem" mean? It's clearly written as such, with no following dot.
Out there I find a few expressions like "ordonnance en rem" and "jugement en rem". Could it be short for/referring to something like that? I'm not sure what either of these expressions mean either though!

French term (edited):
rem/ise de la minute
Selected
delivery of the original judgement
Minute: draft, original judgment, West.
Delivery in the sense of transmittal or forwarding.
No dot as not a common abbreviation, just lazy shorthand (in hot weather, feasibly).
... en remise, rather than in rem for the other instances : judgment in rem referring to one against a ship etc.

Example sentence:
Law/Patents > Law (general) la minute de la décision a été remise par le magistrat signataire

: I agree that rem is most likely short for remise in the sense of expédition = dispatch or communication (rather than delivery)

Thanks, gracias and merci. I'm glad you 'liked' my joke about heat-induced laziness.

Reference of official judgement
Je pense que Rem signifie "renvoi à la minute", la minute étant l’acte original qui constate par écrit la décision des juges et qui n’est établi qu’en un seul exemplaire conservé par le greffe du Tribunal

: This is possible, but neither "rem" nor "renvoi" appears in your reference.
