This is in the bylaws of a non-profit corporation being formed in Colombia. I was told by the lawyer who was involved in writing these bylaws that the word "plancha" in this legal context is uniquely Colombian, but he wasn't able to clarify for me what it actually entailed.

It is a list of the candidates proposed to make up the Board.
La elección de miembros de la Junta Directiva se hará mediante planchas, aplicando el sistema electoral, pero cuando sólo se presente una plancha, podrá hacerse el nombramiento por aclamación.
