Aunque no existe una denominación específica que diferencie los puntos de inflexión de una curva cromatográfica -que yo conozca al menos-, la referencia a punto de inflexión inicial/izquierdo/(en fase) ascendente [liftoff] versus punto de inflexión final/derecho/(en fase) descendente [touchdown] resultaría creo perfectamente comprensible en el contexto dado.
