Flemish marriage document/certificate It's Flemish. I guess it's just a very formal way of saying the marriage certificate was issued, but I am not sure. Before this phrase, it just states the details of the bride and groom.

Context What is this about? What is the "aandenken", and what does it say before this? I'm trying to get an idea of why they say "afgestaan" rather than, say, "gegeven".
