staat weer schuin van onder naar boven
Dutch to English

Het tweede veld is een datumveld zoals het ook in de voorgaande berichten stond met de opbouw YYMMDD. Het veld staat weer schuin van onder naar boven.

at an angle from the bottom up
maybe a possibility...

Ken Cox
: or 'runs diagonally from...' (hard to imagine, but that's what it says...)

: Or: 'inclined from the bottom up', or 'inclined from bottom to top'. But as Fiona suggests, one could interpret the source text quite differently. I imagine a little more context from asker (or client) would be helpful...

Harry Borsje
: most likely oriented at 45 degrees (as you can with cell contents in Excel), or possibly this field is used like e.g. DRAFT diagonally accross a whole page (as can be done in Acrobat); certainly NOT referring to italics

IMO you should ask the client for clarification (preferably the diagram or printout that presumably forms the basis for this description).
The only thing I can imagine is that the data structure, in printed form, has the elements of the date field interleaved among other data elements (or possibly dummy data) such that it lies along an angled line relative to the rows and columns -- perhaps something like this:
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxDxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxDxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
xxxxxxxxxxxxxMxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
xxxxxxxxxxxxMxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
xxxxxxxxxxxYxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
xxxxxxxxxxYxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Just another option to consider

oops, that should be 'rising'

Discussion
Should the text be angled like a draft watermark text as suggested by Harry in his neutrl rsponse to Willemina?
This is not clear with your odd and even ascending series of numbers in your note above.
