The Total Insured Value and the Maximum Insured Value, as appropriate, of this Insurance Contract are subject to Average, such that if the total value of the interest covered shall at the commencement of the loss or the damage be of greater value than the declared value of the interest covered, then the sum insured under this Insurance Contract shall be reduced by the same percentage that the declared value bears to the value of the interest at the time of loss, and the Insured shall be considered as being his own Insured for the difference and shall bear the rateable share of the loss accordingly.
