An organizational pension program created by a company for the benefit of its employees.

Also referred to as a "company pension plan".

Investopedia Says: Funds deposited in a superannuation account will grow typically without any tax implications until retirement or withdrawal.

These plans are usually either defined-benefit or defined-contribution plans.

Este pensie. Totuşi, spre deosebire de pensia clasică, se poate opta pentru retragerea întregii sume, în loc de promisiunea primirii unei sume anuale:

Some retirement plan (or ***superannuation***) designs accumulate a cash balance (through a variety of mechanisms) that a retiree can draw upon at retirement, rather than promising annuity payments. Pentru a le distinge, ai putea traduce *pension fund* prin fond de pensii iar *superannuation fund* prin fond pentru pensionare / în vederea pensionării.

Parcă m-am mai luminat un pic. ”Pension” este pensie în general (inclusiv de invaliditate etc.) iar ”Superannuation” este pensionare/pensie pentru limită de vârstă.

Cred că următorul text este lămuritor:

În concluzie, aş traduce ”pension or superannuation fund” prin ”fond de pensii sau de pensii pentru limită de vârstă”, deşi aş spune că este vorba despre fonduri cu denumiri diferite dar cam cu acelaşi conţinut. Greu să traduci sinonime când noi avem un singur cuvânt pentru toate...
