I am not finding an explanation of the term in the internet. Is there anything behind it or does it actually mean pumping function of the both ventricles?

Thanks

biventricular = pertaining to both left and right ventricles according to the below:

biventricular = pertaining to or affecting both ventricles of the heart according to the below.

I would take it to mean the (pumping) function/functioning of both the right and left ventricles as you say.

I don't think there is anything behind it but there are various websites that do describe negative or positive effects on biventricular function...

functioning of both ventricles of the heart

Definition of "biventricular": pertaining to or affecting both ventricles of the heart (Dorland's Medical Dictionary)

Hence "functioning/function of both ventricles of the heart" seems to be appropriate.

For example (in a similar scenario):
Biventricular assist device: A ventricular assist device that helps both ventricles of the heart. It helps the right ventricle of the heart to pump blood to the lungs and the left ventricle to pump blood to the body. The Berlin Heart is an example of a biventricular assist device.
