My mind's just empty at the moment, and I'm at a loss for a good translation of this term. The term is to be used in a rather formal document... Can anyone help? I would be ever so thankful!

"Aktør" can be translated in a number of different ways depending on the context: actor, player, participant, party, etc. Here, I think I would have used "between the parties".
