fulfillment of in-hospital service requirements
My understanding is that the person was granted accreditation in cardiology based on two criteria: (1) approval by the board of physicians, and (2) fulfillment of in-hospital service requirements. To be accredited in a specialty, it is typically required that the candidate complete a certain number of specialized rotations in a hospital.
