Spanish term

lo determinado en la misma

Spanish to English Tech/Engineering Engineering (general) Technical education
Mismo tema [certificados]. A continuación el texto fuente:

INSTITUTO NACIONAL TECNOLOGICO

Por cuanto
[Juan Perez]

Ha cursado y aprobado los programas del Plan de Estudios correspondientes y cumplido con todos los requisitos legales, conforme las disposiciones reglamentarias;

has satisfactorily completed the subjects contained in the respective Course of Study [Syllabus] and he has met all the legal criteria pursuant to statutory provisions;

Therefore [En este caso 'por lo tanto' lo estoy dejando literal pues no cabria en el contexto la frase de cajón generalmente utilizada 'it is therefore' o si?]

There is clearly an "error de número"
Manuel Aburto (asker) Mar 30, 2015:
Un tanto literal:

By virtue thereof, he is granted this DIPLOMA which certified him as....

by virtue of the authority entrusted to us

this is not a direct linguistic suggestion, instead it is a common phrase that can be found commonly in diplomas serving in a similar capcity, so it would be:

by virtue of the authority entrusted to us, we present the following Diploma/Title...
