Spanish to English Other Livestock / Animal Husbandry aquaculture

This is a Chilean document. It's an aquaculture standard.
The phrase goes as follows:
"La empresa debe dar cumplimiento a los requisitos establecidos en el reglamento de seguridad para la ejecución de faenas de buceo."

Another document states: "Verificar el estado de los instrumentos a utilizar en la faena de buceo (quiñes o chinguillos, guantes, cabos, etc.)."

My guess is that they are referring to the fish harvest being performed by scuba divers, but I am not sure.
