I agree the poll should have used the full name or have a link or something.
For one not having had a formal translation training, It has been useful in some instances.

I'm guessing that the large vote for "Other" (56.7% as I write) reflects the people like me who didn't know what CPN stands for when they voted.

The CPN badge adds a colourful splotch next to one's name, nothing else.
And the process to get one is amateurish at best: you submit a translation of an excerpt you pick yourself (!) and then one peer from that pair pool of CPN translators reviews it. The badge is then awarded - or not - based exclusively on that review.

At some point, I was even one of the reviewers in my pairs, but had to stop eventually because of the pathetic quality of some of the translations submitted.
I remember one in which a list of "Yes" (and possibly "No") answers made up most of the earth-shattering exchanges in what was supposed to be a dialogue.
