The course aims at giving students an overview of the issues they might find when translating sports and how to solve them through some practical cases. Any LSP in the sports industry. Learning objectives Students will learn the difficulties and challenges they will find translating sports. Students will learn how to summarize for sports translations. Students will learn the licenses and restrictions audiovisual translation has for sports translation. Students will learn how to solve practical problems in sports translation and localization. Prerequisites A little knowledge on audiovisual translation is advisable, but not mandatory.
