怎麼有人老愛用DOMAIN這個詞表示領域？

這個英語用詞準確嗎？我一看見帶有DOMAIN這個字眼的郵件就直接刪除。

我昨天找西語翻譯，印度公司報價3美分，真不知道他們拿到文件后怎麼做。配給西語翻譯1分？能找到嗎？

我有1一次法阿拉伯語的告示，真收到一個1分的，背景還是滿好的，在所有申請人中處於上游，不過還是沒敢用她。

一般那些收费特别低的印度翻译社都用低价格的印度翻译，估计水平不高，我曾经见过低价印度翻译社涉及中文的译稿，质量比较差。但因为印度历史上与欧洲的来往比较多，学各个欧洲语种的人才都有。至于domain，对我来说算不标准，但还是可以理解。用词习惯不同而已。

再看看同义词。

從來沒聽到看到美國人用這個詞匯表示AREA OR FIELD， 在美國它幾乎只用於“DOMAIN NAME”。

在法语里，领域就是domaine。有些阿拉伯国家的人民的法语比英语好，或许以domain来代表area、field就是从法语来的？

For sure it's not nearly as common as area or field, but I've definitely heard frequent mention (especially in work-related settings, e.g. interviews) of "domain of expertise".
