Thank you all for expressing your interest in the ProZ.com Regional Conference in France by joining the mailing list and your patience while we were finalising dates and venue.

Thank you all for expressing your interest in the ProZ.com Regional Conference in France by joining the mailing list and your patience while we were finalising dates and venue.

The conference will be held from 2- 4 November at the 4-star Aquabella hotel in Aix-en-Provence in the South of France. The actual conference will take place on Friday 2nd and Saturday 3rd while Sunday 4th is reserved for two full-day CAT tool training sessions. While details for the training sessions are still to be finalised, we are delighted to announce that in all likelihood one of these two sessions will cover Atril's Déjà Vu and be held in French. Which level of Déjà Vu user this training is aimed at is still to be confirmed. Details about the second training session and pricing will be available soon.

We are also delighted to advise you of the two main conference themes, which are Freelancing in France - Business issues and Legal translations. The aim is to offer a total of 3 to 4 sessions in each of these subjects that will be of interest to both experienced and less experienced translators. These sessions will be complemented by other sessions of more general interest, such as technical workshops (e. g. CAT tools), focus groups, business matters, etc.

Merci pour l’intérêt que vous avez manifesté à l’égard du Congrès Régional ProZ français en vous inscrivant à la lettre d’information ; merci aussi pour votre patience quant aux dates et lieux !

Le congrès se tiendra du 2 au 4 novembre à Aix-en-Provence dans l’Hôtel**** Aquabella. Le congrès lui-même se déroulera les vendredi 2 et samedi 3 tandis que le dimanche 4 sera réservé à deux formations aux outils TAO. Ces formations dureront toute la journée. Nous n'avons pas encore finalisé les détails de ces formations, mais c'est avec un grand plaisir que nous vous annonçons que, selon toute vraisemblance, l'une de deux sessions sera dédiée à Déjà Vu d'Atril et se tiendra en français. Nous vous confirmerons le niveau de cette formation. Les détails concernant la deuxième formation ainsi que les prix seront annoncés sous peu.

Nous sommes également heureux de vous faire part des deux thèmes principaux du congrès, à savoir Etre Freelance en France – Questions relatives à l’entreprise et Les traductions juridiques. L’objectif est d’offrir un total de trois à quatre sessions pour chacun de ces sujets, suceptibles d’intéresser les traducteurs expérimentés comme les plus novices. Ces sessions seront complétées par d’autres sessions d'intérêt général telles que des ateliers techniques (outils TAO...), des groupes de discussion spécialisés, des discussions sur la gestion d'une entreprise etc.
