Henry says we must all specialize, so I provide the following.

From a Russian translators' forum:

Она была переводчицей
- Коленька, а кем вы работаете?
- Слесарем, Машенька.
- О, это должно быть безумно интересно! Все эти ваши рашпили, керны,
штихели, фланцевые притирки, резьба под муфту, стопар... See more

шпунтом... Знаете, я в этом совершенно ничего не понимаю!

Translation:

She was a translator.
- What is it you do for a living, Peter?
- I am a plumber, Jane.
- Oh, that must be so interesting. All those double pole switches,
impellers, street elbows, backflow preventers, angle stops, vent stacks and
Essex flanges: You know I know not the first thing about it!
