Hi there,
I am not sure, if this is right forum.
I am looking for recommendations for an invoicing software, freebie.
The software should be easy to use. A simple invoice will do it for me.

I have used for like 7 or 8 years and I find it can fufill all my invocing, accounting and job management needs.
It's an excel file embeded with VBA. The best thing about managing invoice in an excel file is that you can use the excel features like calculation and sorting.

Notice: By default Microsoft Excel blocks all embedded macros. To use Excel Invoicer you have to set "Macro Security" to "Enable all Macros"

I am testing BACCS and it looks really nice so far. I am testing it for our team of four people, so my needs are a bit more complex. For the individual translator, BACCS is an excellent choice, if you ask me.
(No, it is not freeware, but it is very inexpensive.)

It's totally free and you can issue invoices from right within the system in any currency. You can track expenses, issue estimates, run accounting reports, add as many clients or services that you want.

I have been using proz's own invoice system for last 4+ years and you can find it under "tools" in the header bar.

ProZ.com invoicing tool is intended for full members (thus it is not free).
2 - Who can use the invoicing tool?
ProZ.com full members can use the tool to create and send an unlimited number of invoices. Non-members can create up to five invoices for free (provided they have not tried the tool as members before).

I have code signed the Excel Invoicer file and created a installer for it. You can now use it with default macro security settings of Microsoft Excel. Download here:
It's free and open source. Feel free to edit the code for your needs.

I have quite a number of small tools I coded for myself. It may be worth it to polish them a little and share them.
Let me know if you have some questions with Excel_Invoicer. I think it's pretty straightforward, flexible and very powerful too as it's an Excel file. You can take advantage of all the Excel features with your data like graphing, equations... sorting, filtering....
