Explorer replacement with .pdf and .doc preview

Hello. Does anyone know if there is an Explorer replacement out there that has a preview pane like the one in X1?

Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks.

with pdf (for sure) and doc (oh well, pretty sure as well) plugins.
