I would be the most grateful if someone could explain how to convert word document into a .pdf format file without having to buy a particular adobe reader sofware.
I need to send my course work(translation) to the tuitor and because there is a translation from english into another language, i'm worried that they may bot be able to read it, unless i send it as .pdf format file.
Thank you very much. | | |

I recommend pdf995. The free version is fully functional, with advertisements, or you can pay a small price to use it without advertisements. It is the only free pdf creator that I could find which can also handle hyperlinks. I have an older paid version of Adobe that didn't work as well as pdf995! | | |

I have recently come across this resource:
zamzar.com,
which seems a very good online converter. Haven't tried it yet, but maybe it helps.

Go to www.openoffice.org and download the software, if you don't have it already. It is almost entirely compatible with Word - you can open Word documents in it, edit them and then open the same in Word again.
