Hello,

I have installed the demo version of SDL Trados Freelance 2006 (build 6010). I chose the Custom installation but it did not include the possibility of installing any SDK or related Programming reference documentation.

I am interested in using Translator´s Workbench API from .NET as it was possible with previous Trados versions (6.X, 7.X).

- Can SDL Trados 2006 SDK documentation be available for evaluation of the demo version?

The SDK documentation is not included in the Freelance version. It's only available in the corporate version of Trados. This was also the case with Trados 6.

I can't guarantee 100% but I'm nearly sure that the TRADOS 7 API is backwards compatible. The changes would be the addition of new APIs to use new features included in the latest version.

You might want to contact Trados about this as well.
