ProZ.com powwow: bring the family!

August 27, 2005, 12:00 am
AustraliaBrisbaneIn personEnglish
It will be a simple family fun day. We'll meet in the Roma Street Parklands at 14.00. There will be some games for kids to play (word games, colouring in of flags etc.) but they are free to play in the playground too. Hopefully us translators can get some time to chat about the pros (or should I say proz) and cons of translatorship (and to hear the consequences for our poor partners)!

You know that place we had the workshop at? The hire fee is pretty cheap... we can all chip in.

Venue II Jul 13, 2005

Hi guys!
I have been ringing around and most of the venues are quite expensive and only available during weekdays. I would suggest the following;
1. Go to the Belgium Pub in the city
2. Meet in a restaurant (Maybe La Kashbah?)
3. Have a picnic at Rocks Riverside Park
4. Hire the Ausit workshop venue and all bring a plate

Please let me know what you think about these options and which one you prefer. Also send the information of this powpow through to as many
