I’m a native Chinese who has 7 years of translation experience. Recently I was introduced by a friend to Proz.

Currently I’m working for a Swiss Corporation in heavy machinery/food processing/grain logistics industry, in charge of marketing communication projects in China.
- Localization of printing materials;
- Multimedia subtitling/dubbing;
- Interpretation for marketing events – trade shows, technical seminars, customer events, etc.
- Marketing research, macro-economic analysis, etc.

Meanwhile I’m also a registered freelancer at SDL China, focused on game translation. Localized Defense Grid 2 – a Tower Defense game, as leading translator & UI tester, also do proof reading for other games, i.e. Zynga social games.
I also translated a few threads on major western game site e.g. MMO-Champion, IGN, and published on Chinese fansites – 178.com, 17173.com.

I read quite a lot, both in Chinese and English, interested in history, culture, miliary and geo-economics related topics. Translated a few social hot topics from western sites to Chinese sites as well.

I’m also a active user on Facebook, reddit and 4chan, familiar with western internet culture.
