porcelain painting
This is a description of overglaze painting on porcelain, done after the glaze firing, and the colours are fixed by further firing.

.. and this is not in fact the text I am working on, although it has been useful!)

4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer.
Comment: "Thank you!
This was definitely useful and put me on the right track. It is also arrived fast and is used, so four points!
My client's supplier uses the French name for the product, essens grasse, and says this is also used in English, so I am adding it to the glossary.
(fat oil is a translation of that, so there you go!)
Thanks again!"
