connection between databases in parent company and branch overseas
Formålet er hurtigst muligt at få opbygget et kundekartotek (til filialafdelingen). Kartoteket skal opbygges, så det på sigt kan *backfilles* i (hovedafdelingens) CRM-system.
This means that new data collected while working face to face with customers etc. can be entered in the subsidiary's database, and sent back at a suitable point to the main system (where it will be coordinated with other data as suitable).
It is not simple backup. That is dealt with elsewhere.
Re-registered?
I have drawn a blank on this. It could just be a typo, as there are several others in the text, but I have not worked out what this one shoud be.
Thanks for any suggestions!

backfill; consolidate
It's just a borrowed English term. The central CRM system is the authoritative one and generally provides data feeds to the peripheral databases, but when the peripheral databases contain newer data, the central one should be backfilled.
Another way to say it "...could be consolidated back into the CRM system at the headquarters"

Comment: "Thanks - I thought as much!
I used both backfill and consolidate in the end. The client sent a couple more files, and it came up several times."
