from nursery/creche to kindergarden
a 'vuggestue' is for children aged 0-3, a kindergarden is for children aged from 3 until they begin at school

Danish term (edited):
skifte fra vuggestue til brnehave
day nursery to reception class
There is no exact equivalentto børnehave in UK English, but I think "reception class" does fit because it is the first class a child attends when it starts school in the UK, and in DK "børnehave" is attended by children between 3 and 7 - more or less the same age as children in "reception class".
