Danish term

ubeskyttede

Danish to English Tech/Engineering Telecom(munications)
Here's the context:
"Priserner for leje af ubeskyttede infrastrukturudstraekninger og andre netelementer i abonnentnettene".
It just the word "ubeskyttede". Found lots of hits in Danish but can't figure out the English equivalent.
Thanks.

non-secure /non-secured

Probably only gives a few hits because most people don't admit it or turn the whole sentence round to recommend secure or encrypted or whatever instead.

But that is what I would suggest.
