Dutch term

sporenzaak

Dutch to English Tech/Engineering Biology (-tech,-chem,micro-) Forensics, Dactylography, Criminology
Currently working on a functional design document describing decadactyloscopic fingerprinting systems, and in defining several items it lists the term above, which is becoming somewhat of a roadblock given my resources.

Context is as follows:

Definitie sporenzaak

3 KudoZ points awarded for this answer. Comment: "Thanks... this got the wheels turning more or less in the right direction. "sporen" are the equivalent of latent prints (i.e. traces of fingerprints, palm-/handprints), while "zaak" was more along the lines of a "case file" which I should have seen... but attaching the word "file" wasn't so evident until reading this answer. I've come to find these are referred to a as LPCs or (L)atent (P)rint (C)ase files"

dactyloscopic data

well, that´s what´s in it, and maybe the whole file can be called this as well, but I couldn´t find a satisfactory answer to that.
