English term

Macasan

English to Arabic Other Names (personal, company)
A small Iraqi village. I've already posted it here as a French > ِArabic pair but didn't get any answer yet. I'm not sure if it has same spelling in English.
I would appreciate any help. Thank you!

I'm afraid that is all. Thank you for trying anyway. Thank you Mueen!
Mazyoun Jan 24, 2005:
Any more information about it which could help? The closest so far is what Mueen Issa answered,"Almakaseb" in Salahiddeen region.
Non-ProZ.com Jan 24, 2005:
It is not mentioned. However, the majority of its population are from the Sunnite who backed up Saddam Hussein, so I suppose it is not in the South.
Mazyoun Jan 24, 2005:
Where exactly is that village? North,or South?

مَـكاسَن

I could not find an Iraqi village in that name, However if its a name... you don't need to translate it, just write it as it sounds مكاسن أو مكسان

good luck
