English term

cajun

English to Chinese Art/Literary Cooking / Culinary cuisine
cuisine of the american south

i've since it's translated as 惩皃 (probably a mandarin transliteration), but is this an established translation?

Should i just stick with (瓣)玭(よ)?

美國南方紐奧良美食

One ref: 嘉郡(CAJUN)美食; also 卡真调料,

I think I would go with 美國南方紐奧良美食, perhaps with the phonetic before or after, to ensure people know what I'm talking about.

Do NOT use "nan fang feng wei"-- it's wrong!! Cajun cooking is NOT the same as Southern cooking. Cajun is only from Louisiana/New Orleans and reflects French influence as well as elements from the Caribbean.
