Basically, I think Oliver's and Carlis's suggestions are very practical.
Here, "along with" is another way to say "besides."

along with sth: in addition to sth 除。。。之外；不光是。。。 除了香港、澳门、韩国、新加坡及日本这排名前五位的旅游目的地之外，澳大利亚旅游业研究表明澳大利亚也算是排名第十四位的旅游目的地。I agree with clearwater's point of view. Australia tries to rank itself with the top five ranked destinations on the same level in order to highlight its importance as another tourist destination.

They are definitely ranked from 1st to 5th (but not necessarily in the listed order). I am not sure why they are listed along with Australia, however. The context may give some clues (perhaps Australia considers itself an Asia-Pacific nation and therefore is comparing itself to its neighbours who have made it to the top).
