Acc. to the client, the first is the history of how people accumulate wealth while the second is the history of economics as a science.

I think the second would be historia shel hakalkala, but what would be the first.

economics' history or history of economics

you should check the source of your English,
history can not have a connotation of being profitable, or thrifty...
