topli zec

Topli zec je "dobrodošlica" novopridošlim zatvorenicima. Zatvorenici bi se postavili u dva paralelna reda, a zatim bi novopridošli zatvorenik prošao između njih, dok bi ga ostali udarali. Po izlasku iz toplog zeca novopridošli bi bio sav krvav i izubijan.... Onaj koji ne bi "adekvatno udarao", bio bi kažnjen... Topli zec se primenjivao u svakoj sitaciji kada je nekoga trebalo kazniti.

izađete iz vode, zapraše vas nekim praškom protiv vašiju, a onda tako goli trčite kroz ljudski špalir "topli zec" dugačak oko kilometar. Noge vam brzo prokrvare po tom kamenju, oko vas ljudi urlaju: "Bando...!" Njihov je zadatak da vas tuku. Ali mene je udarilo možda pet, šest ljudi. Mnogi su pravili zamahe, kao da će da me udare, urlali, drugi su šaputali: "Trči brže, mali!"

Another ancient custom of British fighting men was a form of punishment in which the culprit was made to run stripped to the waist between two rows of men who whipped and beat him as he passed by. These beatings were extremely severe and the victims often died as a result - and many of those that didn't may well have wished they had, as survivors were sometimes executed afterwards. This punishment is the source of the term 'running the gauntlet' and was used by both the British army and navy. Mada može i gore navedeni špalir.
