agent retardateur de grillage

Composition à base de polymère réticulable, comprenant :_
(i) une polyoléfine insaturée ayant une quantité totale de doubles liaisons carbone-_carbone/_1000 atomes de
carbone d’au moins 0,1,
(ii) au moins un agent retardateur de grillage, et
(iii) au moins un agent de réticulation.

Pewnie słowo „grillage” można znaleźć w słowniku technicznym (ja nie mam). Tekst (patent) mam w j. angielskim, a zastrzeżena w ang., francuskim i niemieckim. Po angielsku to „scorch” (scorch retarder = agent retardateur de grillage = Versengungshemmstoff), a scorch to (wg mojego tekstu) skazy powstałe w wyniku przedwczesnego sieciowania mieszaniny polimerowej albo przedwczesne sieciowanie. Ciekawa jestem, czy to samo oznacza „grillage” po francusku.

The free-radical forming agent should preferably remain stable during extrusion performed at a temperature low enough to minimize the early decomposition of the peroxide but high enough to obtain proper melting and homogenisation. Furthermore, the crosslinking agent should decompose in a subsequent cross-linking step at elevated temperature. If e.g. a significant amount of peroxide already decomposes in the extruder, thereby initiating premature crosslinking, this will result in the formation of so-called "scorch", i.e. inhomogeneity, surface uneveness and possibly discolouration in the different layers of the resultant cable.
