Specifically, I am wondering how to translate this bit:

"il Decreto Ministeriale di parificazione, di riconoscimento legale, di pareggiamento o di parità"

I have not been able to find what this is known as or referred to in English. Anyone know any good sources for previously translated titles of decrees and ministerial orders in Italy? As there must be thousands, it would be great to know where to find translations of them.

tx Thanks Nick and Phil - I think I will have to leave quite a few things in this translation in Italian and make reference to UK equivalents
philgoddard Jan 21, 2022:
Parificazione, pareggiamento and parità all mean the same in English.

Decreto Ministeriale di parificazione (similar to the Independent School Registration)

The UK school system is completely different by the Italian, therefore I would leave it as is, with the explanation that it is similar and has the same enabling effects of the UK Independent School registration (see link below)
In fact, for private AKA independent schools to be able to operate they need to be registered with the government and are inspected regularly.
