It's not a colledge, nor is it specifically a Hotel School – at least no more than a high-school specialising in drammatic arts is A Drammatic Arts School. It's just an ordinary high-school also providing vocational training making its pupils more likely to aspire to the noble professions of waiters, cooks and hotel managers... ostensibly...
The precendent Colin refers to is a patently WRONG answer:
In Italy there are high schools, such as Istituto Technico, Istituto Linguistico (not Linguistic School either!!!), Liceo Classico, Liceo Scientifico, Istituto Alberghiero, etc. They are all high schools teaching more or less the same mandatory subjects, plus leaning towards a particular area of specialisation – most of it a joke, really.

Thanks Patricia. Secondary, in Italy, is often referred to as "media". They have 5 years Elementary,3-Secondary, 4- High.... then they start calling themselves "Dottori"!!! Just hidding: they do it after three years of university....
