Italian term
producono impianti che lavorano l’acciaio per cemento
Italian to English
Tech/Engineering
Engineering (general)
steel
This comes from a text describing images of a steel manufacturing company in a photo book (most of which is non-technical). Perhaps my total ignorance of steel manufacture is the problem here but surely the production of plants is not ongoing and how does one produce cement from steel?? I am totally lost!! Can anyone illuminate me??

production plants (or facilities) which manufacture [reinforcing] steel for concrete
"produce plants" refers to groceries, not hard factories.

"lavorano" here probably means "they manufacture" (fabbricano, confeziono)
