La locuzione latina A divinis, tradotta letteralmente, significa dai [ministeri] divini.

La sospensione "a divinis" è una pena di carattere giuridico, che è comminata ai sacerdoti per mancanze ritenute gravi, come passo antecedente alla scomunica.

Una delle sospensioni più recenti e famose è stata quella comminata dal Papa al mons. Marcel Lefebvre.

agree Valentina Pecchiar : Ragazzini conferma: to inhibit: (relig.) interdire, sospendere: to inhibit a priest from performing church functions, sospendere un sacerdote a divinis. Poi ci sono anche to disfrock e to unpriest, ma mi sembra un registro meno formale. Alexander?
