Italian term

naturizzatore

Italian to English Marketing Marketing air sanitiser brochure
I'm translating a brochure for an air sanitiser and the manufacturer uses this expression:
"Aria sana , fresca , naturizzata!", as well as "naturizzatore d’aria".

I Googled and came across an article on a company that trademarked the term "acqua naturizzata", which leads me to think that it's not a term that is used very commonly.

Could you help me with how to translate it into English? There is the term "renaturalisation" which seems to describe the process of cleaning rivers (ecological restoration), but I'm not sure whether it could be applied to the air.
I'd be grateful for any help. Thanks!

Thanks.

"Aria sana , fresca , naturizzata!
e' un naturizzatore d’aria
Al contrario dei classici purificatori con filtri a carbone o filtri HEPA, XXXXXXX non si limita a imprigionare i contaminanti in un filtro, ma li distrugge."

This is the precise context and the only time the two forms of the word appear in the text. The manufacturer wants to make the distinction from air purifiers.
philgoddard Dec 8, 2020:
So it's a noun? You still haven't given the context. If so, I think you should translate it as "sanitizer".
Hara Iliopoulou (asker) Dec 8, 2020:
The brochure refers to the product as both a "sanificatore d'aria" and a "naturizzatore d'aria".
philgoddard Dec 8, 2020:
Could we have the context, please You've called it a sanitizer, so isn't that the translation? You can't also call it a naturalizer. Or is "naturizzatore" being used as an adjective?

Neutraliser

This seems to be spelt occasionally with a Z, but as a "Brit", I would go with S.

In my recent experience, the usage of "Neutralising" in terms of freshening air and limiting smells is commonly used on household, industrial and commercial cleaning products. We see it all over supermarket and industrial items these days. Another example here:
"...read on to find out tips on how to neutralise the air in your home once more."
https://www.idealresponse.co.uk/blog/remove-foul-cooking-odo...
Example sentence:

"Quietly & Consistently NEUTRALISES & freshens the air around us as we breathe, heavy or sweet scents."

"Delphis is targeting large organisations such as hospitals, hotels and factories with products including multi-purpose cleaner, degreaser, AIR NEUTRALISER and washing-up liguid."

Peer comment(s):

agree philgoddard : Based on the context in the discussion box, this is not the product's name, but a description of what it does. I think "neutralises" would work, and would avoid the semi-repetition of "naturizzata/naturizzatore".
