IMO, infatti, meglio, in questo contesto, che "vascular & neurological", trattandosi di 1 ferita, senza esiti di deficit *dei vasi - vasale - e dei nervi* periferici (non vascolare e neurologico in gen.).
Example sentence:

...nerve- and vessel-sparing...

nerve and vessel injury...

neutral Lionel_M (X) : "Peripheral vessel deficit" ? never found it ARS. We say "vascular deficit"//"We" = ricercatori. Quello che voglio dire è che "vessel deficit" non si dice, ne si trova, almeno che uno si perda un vaso ---)))) (scherzo)

"We" chi, Lionel? Cfr. nota aggiunta, e cmq diff.te si trovano intere frasi fatte online... inoltre, così il ns. lavoro sarebbe + che altro una "copiatura"... R. ...allora gli altri 6 link accreditati per "vessel deficit" che aggiungo
agree AeC2009 : Tend to agree with ARS...

no peripheral vascular/neurological deficit

usually, the expression is "neurological" deficit, although "nerve defici"t could also work ( though less well, IMO)

BTW

I believe it is the former, primarily because the Italian has "v/n" and were it "neuro-vascular" in En, I believe it would be "n/v" in the Italian:-) FWIW.
