L’unica differenza che si può notare rispetto al modello più diffuso, è una variante in
corrispondenza di quella che sarebbe la battuta nr. 7 (in corrispondenza delle parole
vien morettino), dove invece di usare il settimo grado della scala (si) come nota di
volta del sesto grado (la), la melodia sale fino alla tonica (do) prima di scendere
tramite un salto alla quinta (sol).

My Hazon Garzanti says beat, bar, measure, so it's prob right x

I just spoke to a musician friend, Italian, and he definitely said it was a bar and NOT a beat. Food for thought.
