The cognitive complements are of two types: the “cognitive baggage” and the “cognitive context”. The first type corresponds to what is generally called encyclopedic knowledge, including “all knowledge, linguistic and extralinguistic, stored in an individual’s memory” (« toutes les connaissances, linguistiques et extralinguistiques, emmagasinées dans la mémoire d’un individu », Lederer 1995:38).

da quel che ne so in psicologia si parla di cognitive heritage o cognitive background ma magari nel tuo contesto non si adatta molto
