EGR mixture / fresh mixture

Ładunek roboczy, czyli mieszanka, która trafia do silnika. W przypadku nowoczesnych silników, aby spełnić normy emisji zanieczyszczeń część spalin dodawana jest ponownie do mieszanki, w przypadku tego typu silników będzie to "EGR mixture".

W silniku dwusuwowym przykładowo, w suwie sprężania świeży ładunek "wypycha" przez układ wydechowy spaliny powstałe w wyniku pracy. Ładunek roboczy to wtedy "fresh mixture".
